By accessing or using ConvertingMP3.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ConvertingMP3 is a free, browser-based suite of audio conversion and editing tools. All processing happens entirely in your web browser using the Web Audio API. We do not upload, store, or transmit your media files.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use ConvertingMP3 only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to convert or edit. You specifically agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Convert, distribute, or process copyrighted material you do not own or have permission to use.
- Circumvent technical protection measures (DRM) on media files.
- Process content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code beyond what your browser already exposes.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in ways that exceed reasonable human use.
4. Intellectual property
The ConvertingMP3 name, logo, design, content, and code are owned by us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Files you process using the Service remain yours. We claim no rights to your content.
5. Privacy
Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. The short version: your audio and video files never leave your device.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertingMP3 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Because conversion happens in your browser, the quality and success of conversions depend on your device and browser. We cannot guarantee that every file will convert successfully.
7. Third-party services
The Service may load resources (such as the MP3 encoder library) from third-party CDNs like jsDelivr. Your use of those resources is also subject to those third parties' terms.
8. Advertising
To support free access, the Service may display advertisements served by third-party networks (such as Google AdSense). We do not endorse advertisers and are not responsible for their content or the products and services they offer.
9. Modifications to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
