Our commitment to copyright compliance

Our role

ConvertingMP3 is a tool, not a content host. We do not store, distribute, or share user audio files. All conversion happens entirely inside the user's browser. We have no copies of any media that anyone has converted using our service.

Acceptable use

ConvertingMP3 must only be used for content that the user owns or is authorized to convert. Specifically, users may not:

  • Use the service to download or extract copyrighted media from streaming platforms.
  • Convert or distribute media protected by digital rights management (DRM) without authorization.
  • Process content that infringes the rights of any third party.

Reporting infringement

If you believe that ConvertingMP3 itself (the website's content — pages, blog posts, branding) infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to info@convertingmp3.com with the subject "DMCA Notice" and include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the URL(s) on ConvertingMP3.com where the alleged infringement appears.
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice with the same contact address, including your contact details, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court.

Repeat infringers

Although we have no user accounts, we will cooperate with valid legal requests and take reasonable measures against any abuse of our service.
