ConvertingMP3 exists for one reason: every other online MP3 converter we tried was either slow, ad-infested, asked for an account, watermarked the output, or — worst of all — uploaded our personal audio files to servers we didn't trust. We thought there had to be a better way.
So we built one. ConvertingMP3 runs entirely in your browser using modern Web Audio technology. Your files are decoded, processed, and re-encoded right on your device. They never touch our servers. We can't see them. We can't store them. And neither can anyone else.

Privacy you can verify
Don't take our word for it. Open your browser's Developer Tools, go to the Network tab, and start a conversion. You'll see absolutely no requests to upload your file. The entire process happens in your browser's JavaScript engine — full transparency, full privacy.
